What is LSI text?

LSI-copywriting– a method of writing texts based on the analysis of search query synonyms and related keywords.

Why do we need LSI text?

LSI allows machines to understand the meaning and content of a document. And when ranking, it equalizes the “weights” of words that are different in spelling, but close in meaning. Thus, synonyms and queries of similar subjects are structured.

What is the difference between SEO and LSI texts?

LSI texts are evolved SEO texts. Therefore.There are quite a few differences, namely:

Requirements for LSI

To write high-quality LCI text,certain requirements must be met,namely:

  1. The material should be useful and fully reveal the topic, giving the user an accurate answer to his question.
  2. Saturation with LSI phrases and the presence of search queries. You need to use keywords, additional words from the subject and related queries.
  3. Terminology and presentation style should be accessible and understandable to any user.
  4. It is advisable to alternate long and short sentences. This creates a dynamic that captivates readers.
  5. There should be no factual or grammatical errors. Unreliability will be determined by the user, and errors by search engines.

 Using LSI Keywords in Title and Description

LCI-keywords

There are two types of LSI keys:

  • Relevant – words from the subject of the main key, which complement and clarify it. It also includes phrases that are directly related to the topic of the article. The presence of such phrases in the article allows you to understand how the topic is disclosed.
  • Synonymous – synonyms for the main query. They are emphasized in basic text optimization. This allows you not to create additional pages and attract industry traffic to one page.

How to find LSI Keywords, phrases?

1.Using search hints. When typing a query in the search line, Google and Yandex instantly issue hints, which are often LSI words:

2.Using tools to automatically search for hints you save time (For example, Google ADWords).

  • Go to the service, select “Search for new keywords by phrase, site or category”;
  • In the window that appears, type the key query of interest;
  • Click on the “Get Options” button.

The service will return a table with similar keywords, their frequency for user requests and the level of competition:

3.We analyze competitors in the search results for the query of interest (using Google Keyword planner, Semrush, Serpstat, etc.)

How to do it on the example of Google planner:

  • Сlick on the button “search for new keywords by phrase, site or category”;
  • Insert the address of the competitor’s page in the corresponding line;
  • Click “Get Options”;

You get a table, as in the screenshot below.

How are LSI keys arranged?

Keys in LSI articles are not only spaced evenly, but must also participate in all elements of the text:

  • Headings and subheadings of various levels, especially in the H1 heading – it is important for site ranking;
  • When writing meta tags (Title, Description, Keywords);
  • When writing the introduction and end of the article (in the first and last paragraph);
  • In image captions and tags (add Alt attributes to each image);
  • In anchors;
  • In the body of the text and around backlinks.
